Understanding the concern for user and attendant, this model focuses on safe user mobilization that will reduce strain on the attendant. The ergonomic control panel provides simplistic functionality implementing keyless lock and programmable features. At the touch of a button, the BARIGLIDE™ by Carstone Seating is designed to assist user and attendant in achieving three key functions: glide, lift, and recline.

Glide. The user is mobilized when the attendant operates the simple joystick control located on the back of the chair. Dual powered front wheel motorization and rear swivel casters transport the user in every direction with no additional effort from the attendant.

Lift. The joystick controlled power lift provides assistance when entering and exiting the chair. A motor auto-brake and rear locking casters prevent the chair from unwanted movement. The foot rest is removable for a clear walkway and easy access.

Recline. A natural reclining position relieves pressure points and enhances relaxation. The motorized back and leg rest move simultaneously with the ease of the joystick control requiring no physical exertion from the attendant.
